El ATEM Constellation 8K from Blackmagic Design is a powerful video switcher in a 2RU chassis that handles HD, 4K and is backward compatible with 8K. It features a built-in front panel control panel and 40 x 12G-SDI inputs, with two main and 24 x 12G-SDI AUX outputs. Each input has its own scaler, allowing seamless switching between inputs of any format. Constellation 8K features built-in 4x DVEs, 16x keyers and 4x media players. 4 multiviewer outputs allow you to view 4, 7, 10, 13 or 16 images simultaneously.
The front LCD display shows the input video. The Constellation 8K can be controlled locally, via the front panel buttons, or from a computer using the control panel software. The built-in Fairlight audio mixer supports 80 channels of audio from SDI, plus 64 channels from the MADI input.
